Profile
Bart Broothaerts is a serial “human-tech” entrepreneur with a strategic vision on the future of business operations: how to stay relevant and (out)perform in a fast-changing world with AI. Since 2018 he has founded or co-founded seven ventures across Web2 and Web3.
He built Unova, a Web3 infrastructure for supply chains with its own blockchain network and a private AI intelligence layer on top, backed by Johan Castelein and since partially sold to a Swiss company. He co-founded Troom Private Drivers in 2020 and Cryptoventis Labs in 2024.
He holds a Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Vlerick Business School, where he is also a guest speaker on Web3, and a Master in Financial Economics from KU Leuven. Alongside his economics degrees he took software engineering courses and taught himself to build software, so Bart has the unique profile of leading strategically and implementing that vision together with his team.

Operational excellence that enhances customer intimacy
Companies should be built in favour of AI, not the other way around. The starting point is an infrastructure, not another ad hoc ERP or AI tool, designed for intelligent automation rather than for people as such. That elevates people to where their touch creates the most value, directly or indirectly, for clients and for themselves.
